Catalog Description
Introduces the health science student to the theoretical basis of the nursing and emphasizes healthcare in order to provide a successful transition to the student nurse role. Emphasizes the nursing role, expectations of the student nurse, nursing process, conceptual framework, history, dimensional analysis, medical terminology, communication, nutrition, cultural awareness and nursing informatics.
