Catalog Description
This course gives students the opportunity to learn various dance forms such as hip-hop, jazz, modern, ballet, improvisation, African, and social dance. The course is designed for dancers of any experience level. The course compares dances' styles and techniques; and develops students' coordination, flexibility, strength, and postural alignment; it also encourages student individuality through movement studies and improvisations.
