ET 133 - DC AND AC FUNDAMENTALS

Fundamentals of DC and AC electronic components and circuits. Laboratory experiments utilize common test instruments such as the multimeter, function generator, and oscilloscope. This is the first course for all Electronic Technology certificates and assumes no prior knowledge.

ET 135 - SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICES AND CIRCUITS

Fundamentals of semiconductor devices and circuits, both discrete and integrated. Includes diodes, transistors, amplifiers, thyristors, operational amplifiers, active filters, oscillators, and voltage regulators. Lab exercises include building and testing devices and circuits studied.

Learn basic hardware and software of robots by building and programming one for various activities. Students purchase a robot kit to build and take home at the end of the course.

ET 289 - SPECIAL TOPICS: INTERMEDIATE ROBOTICS

Study of intermediate level robotics systems, including mechanical and electronic components and subsystems, microcontrollers, sensors, motors/servos, and software. Each student will purchase a robotic arm and construct, program, test, and troubleshoot it to perform specified tasks.
