PhD – History - Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, June 2007 (PhD thesis: The Activity of the Jesuit Mission in Transylvania 1579-1600).

Aura Popa joined Saddleback College in January 2007. She taught courses of World and European History, as well as Latin Paleography in Romania, and also worked as a curator in an art and history museum (also in Romania), prior to joining Saddleback College.
