I teach Automotive Engines, Engine Blueprinting, Auto Electrical Systems, Advanced Electrical Systems, and Auto Fundamentals courses.

    Technician -    Worked in and/or owned automotive repair shops
                     -   Worked in and/or supervised automotive machine shops
    Teacher     -    Taught 33 years at high school or college level
    Administrator - Department Head,  Applied Technology Department
                        -  Assistant Director (VP) of Instruction and Housing

    California Automotive Teachers Association (CAT) - 2009 Post Secondary Teacher of the Year
    NAPA/ASE - Finalist - 1992 Automotive Technician of the Year 

 
Prior to joining Saddleback College in 2005, I worked for 21 years in Seward, Alaska at the Alaska Vocational Technical Center, now called the Alaska Institute of Technology. 

Away from the College, I enjoy long distance motorcycle riding and camping.
