Dr. Jim Wright joined the Saddleback College faculty in January 1994. His responsibilities included teaching Organic Chemistry for over four years. He became an Acting Dean of the Division of Mathematics, Science and Engineering, Health Science and Human Services in 1998 and Permanent Dean of the Division of Mathematics, Science and Engineering in 1999. Prior to joining Saddleback College, he was a career officer in the United States Air Force retiring with twenty seven years of active duty. For his last duty assignment, he served as Commander of the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School located near Colorado Springs, Colorado. In his spare time time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Janice, their three grown children and wives and ten grandchildren.
