Margaret Huang

I was honored to be listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers (10th edition, 2005-2006). Who's Who Among America's Teachers (9th edition, 2004-2005). Who's Who Among America's Teachers (3rd edition, 1994).

I was honored to be a Presenter, “Health Promotion to Prevent Falls”. 2006, 2009, 2010, Joint Conference of the National Council on Aging and the American Society on Aging. March 16, 2006, March 19,2009, and March 17, 2010. 

 I have taught every course in the Nursing Program. My major focus in teaching has been Gerontology, Advanced Medical Surgical Nursing, and Community Health Nursing. My passion in teaching is health promotion, disease prevention, and caring for the sick.

I serve on the Board of Directors of Irvine Adult Day Health Services. I serve as a member of the Health and Nutrition Committee on the Senior Citizens Advisory Council, Orange County Office on Aging.

Prior to joining Saddleback College, I have worked as a staff nurse in Massachusetts and New York. I also have taught at Fullerton College and Santa Ana College.

I enjoy spirituality, family, hiking, music, reading, and travel. I also enjoy my many multicultural experiences.
