1997 Harvard University and Beth Israel Hospital, CT scanned fossil specimen.

1996 British Natural History Museum and Kings College Hospital. CT scanned numerous fossil and modern human crania.

The courses I teach on campus are generally hybrid. That is, the class is a late start class and includes discussion boards on Blackboard. This fall, I am offering a course on the “Biological Evolution of Human Nature” on Wednesday s from 12-2:50. This will be a seminar style class. Email me if you have any questions about it. I will offer a forensic anthropology course in Spring 2010, so do look for that if you are interested in doing some work on real skeletal material. I also offer a course called the Paleo lab in the fall (Thursday 12:30-2:20 check under geology) offered through Math, Science and Engineering division where students learn how to prep a fossil for museum exhibit as well as casting and molding techniques. I consider myself to be an interactive instructor. That is, I consider that a subject can be learned better by incorporating field trips and really getting a deeper understanding of the topic.
