Dr. Rita Tamer received her B.A. in Deaf Studies from CSU, Northridge in 1997. For Graduate School Rita attended Gallaudet University and later finished up her M.A. in Linguistics from CSU, Northridge in 1999. Dr. Tamer also received her Ed.D. in Community College Executive Leadership from Argosy University 2008
Dr. Tamer joined Saddleback College in August, 2001. Her responsibilities include Department Chair administration, teaching, and scheduling.
Prior to joining Saddleback College, Dr. Tamer worked in Northern California at Monterey Peninsula College and De Anza College.
In her spare time Dr. Tamer loves to play with her dog and go to Disneyland.
