I've been teaching at Saddleback College since 1983.  My past teaching experiences include teaching in elementary school also at Orange Coast College in the Human Development Department, and Parent Education classes.  I am currently teaching Kindergarten in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District.

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences and my Master's Degree in Early Education from CSULB.  I have coauthored a book, Get,Ready,Set Grow! About early education curriculum.

Being a mother of three grown children has been my foundation for "hands-on" learning about child development.  My new role as a grandparent, as well as being a kindergarten teacher, gives me an opportunity to see child development theories in practice on a daily basis.  Watching a child grow is one of life's greatest joys.

In my leisure time (besides enjoying my family), I love to travel, go boating and read.
