Dr. King joined Saddleback College as an associate staff member in 2004 while maintaining a private practice as an M.F.C.C. in her offices in Laguna Niguel and Newport Beach.  She has been in private practice for over 20 years, specializing in working with Trauma debriefing and recovery in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. She spent over a month treating individuals working at the World Trade Center in New York in September- October of 2001.  She has instructed graduate classes at University of California at Irvine, USIU,  done emergency related professional training at Saddleback and had taught beginning and advanced training for Child Sexual Abuse Network.
