I have been teaching in the nursing program at Saddleback College since 1986. My current teaching assignment is advanced nursing and pharmacology. I am also a faculty advisor for the Student Nurses Association.

In addition, I work as a nurse practitioner for the County of Orange and co-author a pharmacology textbook, Drug Therapy in Nursing.

I received my Masters Degree at the University of California San Fransciso and worked in the Emergency Department at San Francisco General while I attended school. My first nurse practitioner job was at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

I am facinated with any type of technology - gave up my PDA for my iPhone - and now I am addicted! I am also the pseudo-webmaster for the Division. I live with my husband Ben. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. In my spare time, I love to needlepoint and shop!
