Initially, in 1991 Ms. White joined Saddleback College in the Health Science Division as Associate Faculty for a variety of disciplines including: the Psychiatric Tech Program, Nursing Program (as a clinical nurse substitute) and since 2004 as Associate Faculty in the Medical Assisting and HIT Programs. 
She  worked at Mission Hospital for 14 years as: Clinical Manager of Surgical Services, Perianesthesia Nurse, Med-Surg/Oncology and Emergency Department Nurse. Ms. White developed the business plan for the Outpatient  Testing Center. She collaborated with both the administrative team and architects to open this Research and  Evidence Based Department department in 2003.
During the first 14 years of her employment at Mission Hospital she received awards for Excellence and earned her certification in Ambulatory Perianesthesia CAPA and her Master's Degree in Nursing.
Currently, Ms. White works at Mission Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Educator and serves the following units: SICU, Rapid Response, Trauma, Medical Telemetry, Respiratory Care and Progressive Care Stroke Unit. In addition , she is the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course Director at Mission Hospital and she is an active American Heart Association's Certified Instructor for Basic Life Support and Pediatric Life Support. She also is one of two certified instructors for Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) at Mission Hospital covering both the Mission Viejo Campus and the Laguna Beach Campus. 
At Saddleback College, Ms. White loves working collaboratively with Professor Kay Stevens and the Medical Assisting/H.I.T. team to meet the needs of our students. She is an active member of the team and teaches many of the Clinical Courses and Administrative Courses within the Health Sciences Division.  She is dedicated to ensuring that our students learn. Also she is passionate about teaching our students to be the best so that they are well prepared to care for patients and actively pursue work within  medical offices within our community.
