Vincent Pollizzi

Joined Saddleback College in August 2010 as a part-time instructor in the Automotive Technology Department.

Prior to joining Saddleback College, Vincent was an adjunct professor for 5 years in the Diesel Technology department at Palomar College in San Marcos, California. During his working life he has worked in several different industries including aircraft maintenance, heavy construction equipment maintenance, marine, agriculture as well as transportation and emergency power generation. In addition, Mr. Pollizzi has also worked on packaging and industrial equipment in many different capacities.

Holding degrees in Physics, Engineering, Drafting, and Instructional Design and Technology Mr. Pollizzi brings a unique perspective to the classroom combining both technical and practical perspectives to the material he teaches. Following in the steps of both his father and grandfather, he has been involved in maintaining mechanical systems for most of his life. Being a third generation mechanic, also brings a view of machines to the classroom that allows him to explain mechanical systems and vehicle technology in a way which can be understood by those new to the field.
