Dr Ian Scofield joined Saddleback College faculty in August 2009. 

I am teaching Psych 1 Intro to Psych class in Fall 2009 and will be teaching the same class in Spring 2010. This is a very enjoyable teaching experience for me and i hope my students have fun in my class also! :)

Prior to joining Saddleback I taught at the University of California, Irvine and Santa Ana Community College. 

My classes include class discussions, video clips, active learning activities, and Powerpoint slides. 

Outside of college, Professor Scofield enjoys the wonderful world of classic cinema and films and also walking in beautiful parks in the equally beautiful California sunshine. He especially enjoys the California sunshine as he is originally from England where the weather is unpredictable! Professor Scofield moved to the USA in 2000.
